The Shed Cafe & Cottages @ Trawool are located only one hours drive from Melbourne.
So close, but a world away, our unique property offers a parkland setting nestled in the historic Trawool Valley.
Come, stay, dine and take the opportunity to commune with nature in this very special part of Australia, the Trawool Valley.
The Shed Cafe offers an intimate and warm setting, with natural ambience and friendly hospitality.
The Shed cafe is surrounded by a warm sunny deck overlooking our delightful gardens, olive grove and the valley beyond.
In the summer, relax under the shade sails and enjoy the views of the distant boulder strewn hills.
If the weather turns cold, snuggle up inside and enjoy the warmth from our wood burning heater.
We offer casual dining and à la carte dinners.
We are open Friday and Saturday, 9.00 am till late, plus Sunday 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
We can also open at other times to cater for groups of fifteen or more.
Our menu changes, depending on the availability of local produce, the weather and the mood of our cook on the day.
We are fully licensed and are proud to offer local wines from the Goulburn Valley region.

Walk to the river or bring your bikes and head off on the rail trail. This delightful path winds along the Goulburn River, 33 kms towards Yea and off to Tallarook. Picnic baskets can be arranged for you. A winery tour by limousine is also available on request.
Relax in our beautiful gardens, amongst the peppercorns or hug one of our eight Ombu trees - rarely found in Victoria! We have specimens ranging from young to fully mature - majestic trees with a spreading base and root system, thick lumpy branches, smooth oval leaves. Perfect for sitting beneath with a good book.
Take a walk up the hill to the back of the property and say hello to Craig and Lisa, our pet alpacas.
The views are amazing.

Our spa will warm you in the cold weather with a glass or red, or refresh you in the summer with a crisp bubbly. We can arrange massages on site in our private massage/spa.
