SCENIC ENCOUNTER Bed and Breakfast is a self contained, superior four-star facility with a luxury spa. It is located in South Australia’s premiere holiday destination, Victor Harbor, and boasts stunning panoramic views of Encounter Bay (and beyond). The three-bedroom apartment is ideal for a family or two couples travelling together. Wildlife, whales and wines make this location special. Minimum stay is 2 nights.

• The main bedroom features the latest in ‘space age’ technology with queen-size “Back Rest Chiropractic Latex Supreme” ensemble, the second bedroom a luxury pillow-top Queen ensemble and the third bedroom 2 x singles with pillow top mattresses).
• There is a kitchenette/dining set up with electric frypan, hot plates, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, rice maker, small oven, George Foreman grill, refrigerator, crockery, cutlery etc.
• The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath as well as an oversized shower and safety hand railing.
• We also provide a library of a hundred+ DVD's for viewing, a stereo and CD player and 3 LCD Digital television sets.
• A luxury five person outdoor spa is located in a sunroom at the rear of the home and is sanitised and set at 37 degrees for your comfort.
• A gas barbecue in an undercover patio area is also available for your use.

Victor Harbor boasts historic charm, nature's spectacular seascape land formations and an abundance and variety of wildlife. It continues to be one of the most popular destinations to visit in South Australia.

LOCATION: Just 85 km (80 mins) south of Adelaide, Victor Harbor is the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula. WHALES: Without even leaving the comfort of your car you may see whales breaching and tail slapping between June and October. You can visit the Whale Centre and learn about these majestic mammals.

WILDLIFE: All year round you can visit Urimbirra Wildlife Park, which exhibits over 400 animals including koalas to pat, kangaroos to feed and crocodiles and snakes in special enclosures.

BUSHLAND: You can appreciate unspoilt bushland and sea birds soaring, seals basking in the sun and dolphins surfing. Visit Deep Creek and Talisker Conservation Parks.

WALKS: Everybody can enjoy the remoteness of walking along unspoilt, wind swept sandy beaches or surfing classic beach breaks as you discover the diversity of the South Coast. There is the famous Heysen walking trail, the Nangawooka Flora Reserve, Hindmarsh River walks, and the Encounter Bikeway which extends from the Bluff to Goolwa

SPORTS: For the sports lover, there are 5 championship golf courses available to the public (all within a 30 minute drive) and there are many lawn bowling, tennis, fishing and surfing opportunities available.

ADVENTURE: For the more energetic, Greenhills Adventure Park has 13 hectares of fun including archery, par three golf, paddle boats, water slides and go-karts.

INDIGENOUS CULTURE: Victor Harbor is steeped in indigenous tradition. Granite Island, the Bluff (Rosetta Head) and Kent Reserve all hold great cultural significance to the local Ngarrindjeri people. Visit and read about Kondoli the whale as you enter Victor Harbor and descend Kleinig’s Hill.

ART: For the more sedate, be sure to see some of the best Art galleries in South Australia. Waggon Road Gallery and the Ocean Street Art Gallery are just two of many well worth the visit.
